About

Amirreza Sadeghi Morcheh Khorti is a cellist. He began music at the age of three with the Orff method at the Pars Music School in Iran, and chose the cello at five. At thirteen he entered the Boys’ Music Conservatory of Iran, and he later earned his cello diploma, on a scholarship, at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts High School in Turkey.

He now studies cello with Eduardo González at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Castilla-La Mancha in Spain, and holds the Beca de Excelencia Musical of the Fundación Orquesta Camerata de Castilla-La Mancha for 2026–2027. Three months after arriving in Spain, on 7 May 2025, he made his debut there with the Orquesta Joven Europea de Madrid (OJEM) at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid.

Beca de Excelencia Musical, Fundación Orquesta Camerata de Castilla-La ManchaAt the Teatro Circo de Albacete, the 2026–2027 scholarship was awarded to Amirreza. It includes a training placement, participation in the Camerata’s activities and productions, and a professional cello on loan from Maximiliano Pecollo.
